Armoured Power Cable
A layer of galvanised steel wire or strip armour sits between the inner and outer sheath, protecting the cable against crushing, impact and rodents. Suited to direct burial, ducts and exposed outdoor runs where the cable takes mechanical load.

Unarmoured Power Cable
The same conductor and insulation without the armour layer, making the cable lighter, more flexible and easier to pull. Built for protected routes such as cable trays, conduits, risers and indoor panel work.
